Monroe shocks... $90 rebate

I heard on the radio that Monroe was having a 90 dollar rebate when you buy four shocks. Are these good shocks? I'm not sure If I'm going to be able to get a lift kit anytime soon, but It might be worth replacing the 30 year old shocks (I doubt if they really work well anymore). Any body have monroes, do you like/hate them? What auto parts stores carry them?
