ya i was excited too, until they said they were dropping it 12 inches and making it a 2wd. owell, at least its a blazer and not a bronco. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I tried to watch it . Just can't , too set in my ways . I like hot 2wd cars and TRUCKS , and I like hot 4wd cars and TRUCKS , I don't like removing front DRIVE axles from 4wd Trucks . But hey , its my opinion /forums/images/graemlins/usaflag.gif

For what it was built for, 2wd seemed ok, and lowering made sense...however keeping the 4wd would have been cool too...oh yeah and that motor rocked /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif Never seen the vortec super charger with the carb setup like that before, very

Sucks they /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif ripped /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif apart a 4x4 but the end result was not bad /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif. I do liked that they used a <font color="orange"> 355 Chevy V8, with a supercharger</font>, just proves you can make a small block kick a$$. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Why did they have to take a decent 4x4 and destroy it to make a 4x2? I think some of the fabrication and the engine were pretty cool, but Jessie is still the same.

It was a cool episode, but as I watch it I'm thinking "What did you do that for?" and "You're gonna need that." and for the love of God they put a Ranger front end on it! Just take out the front driveshaft and T-case. 2wd, done. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

I didn't see it. But it sounds like it would have been neater if they kept the 4 wheel drive. Still lower it and everything else for the race they just would have had a 4wd.
Did they remove the front axle because of clearance issues when the truck was lowered?

I missed the first 10 minutes or so.(watching the dodger dame) but they couln't get the engine out of the mounts and them plasma came to the rescue /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gifthen whole front end came out. I think they should have just got an 2wd blazer it would have been alot easier but then again it's monster garage. they probably just could have just removed the T\C and front drive shaft and call it an day but maybe that might have been an issue when they lowered the k5 the front diff might have hit the engine /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
