Anybody know much about them? Local tranny shop is telling me that somebody has welded the center support in the th350 K case that came out of the Chalet and they can't rebuild it. Don't know much about the internals, but they come highly recommended and don't see why they'd lie about it.

I've narrowed it down to either sending them another 4wd th350 that I picked up a while back and see if they can rebuild it, but its not a K case. Also, its about an hour drive up there and I don't have a lot of time these days.

Or, buy one of these reman'd from Monster. Looks like they have a pretty good warranty, but I'd be going from around $550 to around $1150 total cost. Linky

Lets not talk about th400's. Its crossed my mind, but I already have a good rebuilt 27 spline np205, all driveshafts, and a tranny cooler installed for the th350.

I never used them myself but looked into them when I was looking for a trans. They seem like they build some really nice stuff and offer tons of options. The only draw back to them was price but I guess it all comes back to you get what you pay for.

Price is high, but doesn't seem unreasonable when they ship for free. Its less expensive than buying one off of Summit. I'll kick it around til Monday then decide.

I spent a few hundred bucks with them when I ordered the parts for my 700r4 rebuild, didn't have any problems with them... but I didn't purchase one of their rebuilt trannies either.

I'm running one of their 700r4 SS Mega Monsters in mine. Real happy with it...no issues with it when I had the truck together. Price was comperable to BTO or better. Good customer service. Shipping was free to local Fedex Dock at the time.

when my tranny went out last time i slapped a new converter from them in the truck. runs and drives real nice. i would say go for it
