Monster truck

I don't know why, maybe its the boy in me..or the red neck? But I have been day dreaming a lot about building a real deal monster truck..the fact that it would not be road legal, and only so many places to play with it doesn't seem to stop my dreaming..


any websites to some builds, I know it sounds $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and dumb but I am still interested in looking. I just dream of 1000 plus hp and doing wheelies and jumping and not breaking!

no..im talking th real deal... not some 1/2 ton chevy to start with.

I am thinking a full off tube frame, 5 ton axle, fiberglass body, a stupid espensive set of shocks at all for corners and some real deal monster truck tires.

If i lived near sand dunes Id want one. Have fun buying those Floater tires though those babys are expensive.

A buddys dad has a couple old Floaters sittin around. One is a Ford cab and another is a Chevy Cab...I wouldnt mind picking them up for cheap. Big heavy, and underpowered but could still be alot of fun. And they have a big Cat Track Tractor to pull us out if we buried them

I love watching people GETTING IT DONE in trucks whether it be on the rocks or in the mud.

Shawn , they went a long time jumping **** and crushing cars with just a regular old truck , a blower , some terra tires , and some rockwells .

Why not make an ORIGINAL monster truck circa late 70's to mid 80's .

All this tube this and tube that came later , just like with Nascar .

isnt there a member on here that builds monster trucks? He has the red sub, on 40in MTR's, goes by the name of daplumber, or some similar to that.. he posted a couple threads in the garage of a build under way, but i dont know what came of it..
