This was my first trip out with the Georgia Bounty Runners. I had a great time in monteagle. The brown k5 is chucks, he is the president of GBR.

Nice K5's!! THat blue one looks really clean!!

Man, I miss just regular trialriding like that. :( Looks like a cool trail!

Cool pics. I haven't been on a ride w/ the GBR in more than a year. Hopefully I'll be back soon. Those are a great bunch of guys. Did Eric (grim-reaper on here) get his 4-runner done yet?

no, Eric didnt make it. there were 2k5s, 2 jeeps, a ranger, and a bada$$ fj toyota. It was a great time. I have never driven up a river like that.

That would be awesome, Ive got Hi res and larger images. Who should I send them too? I know there are alot of k5s that are much more bada$$ than mine but...if a waterfall would help.....

Thanks for the complement, It means alot

Watch for a post by Paul (CanmoreK5) around Aug/Sept, it will be obvious and we'll keep it up towards the top of the list so you cant miss it. Be sure to give him the high res versions too as they are the preferred format. :thumb:

I'm so covered up I cant catch up and get to the truck. I did wheel it up at Jays a few weeks ago. It did surprisingly well for 28's and IFS. It actually crawls. I have a big piles of parts all over the place. Once I get this Airstream moving then some of the piles will start to move.

First one is a back wall of my Garage knocked out to make the store room part of the main one. The second one is a 350-400hp 68 GTO 400 H.O. into my 70 Lemans. Once the car is drivable then the 4Runner can move into the shop and gets a whole bunch of cutting done.

Gabe:

Glad you had a good time. The GBR is a great club. I'm proud to be a member of them.

(hijack) Good to hear from you! I haven't seen you post in a while. Then again I haven't been on here in about a year :doah: I've been crazy busy w/ work & school, but I've got some time again and actuatlly worked on the K5 last w/e. (hijack off)

Gabe, maybe I'll get to meet you at the next meeting. Was the FJ Kerry's or someone else's? If it was Kerry's be carefull, evey piece of glass I broke in my '80 was following him! He is a great guy, though.

wow that looks wicked fun!!! dont mess up that body! way to clean! gives me some inspiration to what i can do with my own truck cuz its about the same as yours. :)

You don't need to send em anywhere.......we already got em :wink1:

I think we're gonna do a vote or something to determine which trucks make it into the calendar.......you've already got my vote for the month of September.

It's great to see pics from the southeast again! Used to date a girl from a school in Monteagle (Sewanee). Very fun area. Thanks for posting!

That looks like a lot of fun. My first time driving in a stream was in Az this spring. The rain was crazy - It was a lot of fun, but a little scary not knowing what, exactly, you were driving into.

Where is Monteagle? Is it an off road park or just an area to ride? I've heard some local Jeepers talk about it but I've never been there.

I-24 West out of Chattanooga....top of the mountain,
Truckers know it well as the infamous Monteagle descent.
