Found a moon visor of a 92 bronco in nice shape advertised as will probably also fit K5s.. is this true?

Like the thing that bolts to the roof and hovers over the windshield? I dunno if a Bronco one will fit, but I have one I'll sell ya cheap ;)

They suck up gas mileage just so you know.

Yea that's what I'm talking about, your kinda far away though... I don't care about gas milege though.. my truck is non-daily and 9" lift..

Awww Crap So ur sayin that visor i got is killing my gas mileage?! Man im gona toss that piece of crap in the trash! Sure it dosnt have anything to do with the fact that our K5's have the aerodynamics of a BRICK!? Im Sure that the Super Swamper 36x12.5x15's dont help much either! Lol u can read my signature and get and idea what i have done to my K5 and know this even with my visor on and towing a bout to the cabin i still get 15.6mpg!! like to see ya top that!:haha:

Just saying they suck gas mileage. They're not exactly aerodynamic in any way. I've had friends put them on their trucks because they thought they were cool and then remove them fairly quickly because they saw an immediate loss in mpg.

Big Ugly gets 15mpg on a bad day around town.

I dont mean to hi-jack the thread but how do you manage 15mpg aroound town. My 87 350 tbi is all stock except for headers and flowmasters and I average not quite 13 mpg on the highway. Whats up with that?

Diesel.

Sometimes the answer to the problem is to get a different problem.

Once I get the revs down with bigger tires I should be a few mpg more. If I had OD it'd be even better.

well mines a 400 sbc. so im more torque at a lower rpm then your 350 equals better gas mileage. basically mine dosnt have to work as hard as yours to go the same speeds. acctually if i had the right gearing in the truck (still have stock gears now) i could probly get closer to 20mpg runnin around
