moose season

all done ! and i,m scared it might be for a few years! one buddy will probably hunt with his wife. the other buddy went bow hunting with his boy,they had a few close calls. my cousin didn,t even take holidays,only came on weekends. and me! i,m feeling old i have 3 weeks holidays a year. hunting doesn,t really rest a guy! 4 too 5 hours of walking a day,lots of beer,junk food,not much sleeping. this is what i feel,writing this to remember next year! you never know when the fever hits you! we didn,t get no moose but in our 01 region there usely about 3500 moose killed during the hunting season.
Sh¡t, that's too bad, but your logic is sound. I hear ya bud. I hope the fever does get you next year. I really enjoy this thread.
well my buddy not suppose to go with his boy! fever is catching on. had 2 holes to repair so my travel trailer can pass. got 1 patched sunday not sure when i can go for the other. my buddy ask me if i was going ,i said sure! he then said i,m not going with mt boy,its our 30 year up here can,t pass on that!!!

no moose ,seen one cow . need a special permit for cows. had to go help my mother in law. shes 84 and lives alone,she fell and peramedics busted the door. when i came down sunday my wife was in tears,she could not reach here on the phone. she lives 3 hours from us,so we packup and drove to here place. and came back wednesday night. so i hunted only 3 half days. took a few pictures the last day when i was walking it was raining. try to picture the strange plant and berries that grow up there.

turning 50 is not that bad!!!
our group is changing one guy went bow and arrow and got a nice buck,and will probably not come back. girl friend got a new boy friend so he was a new addition. we were 5 and my wife was there 3 days. she was with me when i got the spike,tuesday afternoon. and we got a calf thursday. had a nice week one day of snow. made a trail in the wood for about 200 feet, backed right to the spike . dragged it to the road, and installed a pully on my roll bar. buddy jeep got a winch so we winched it in my jimmy. she took a few pictures with her phone ,i kinda forgot to. and our official heart supper!
