more 14blt ff questons

1. what is the actual bolt pattern? I know its 8 lug, but 8 by what?

2. what is the size of the tube, or in other words what size u-bolts?

3. Whats better to get, the smaller drums or the bigger drums?


Yeah i know, noob questions..i tried to search but i'm on dial up and its taking for ever and i thought this would be quicker.

1. 8 x 6.5
2. junkyard off a 3/4 ton or 1 ton any dana or gm axle will work ford or dodge too. I think 3.25 not sure never had to measure.
3. smaller drums. The shoes are way cheaper. Otherwise for the price of new shoes, hardware, and drums, you might as well get brackets and 3/4 ton disc parts for around the same price and then spend a little extra on brake lines and prop valve to run rear disc. I wouldn't even wheel drums with money dumped into them.
