Hey everyone
The bad luck just keeps on coming. If you dont remember i had an 87 suburban that i wrecked and totalled, then a 1980 suburban with a 454 and that burnt down,The most recent was the war wagon. 1990 suburban with a 6.2 detroit.
I had the inmjector pump and lift pump replaced by A Shop called automotion. A few days later i get an injector knock and a few days later i get to school and the truck is stuck full throttle when i park and the engine wont shut off,Pulled the injector solenoid and all that. I had to choke the engine and get it towed home,It wont start now and I don't know where to start with it.

Dude that sucks. I had a buddy that a 6.2 did something similar. We thought it was a runaway type situation but it turned out to be where the throttle cable goes to the injection pump was incorrectly set up and caused the throttle to stick at a higher rpm than idle. Scared the hell out of him.

First question: does the engine crank over but not start? If it does crank have you tried to get it to light off with starting fluid?

If the engine does not crank can you rotate it by hand at the crank bolt? What’s the oil look like? Metal in it?

Start with the basics.
