more carb help

Hi again can anyone tell me what the he?? the accelerator pump looks like in the carb rebuild kits just got one and the guy at kragon said it was in there and it is not on the parts list any help would be helpful. A while back some one had a photo (brake down) of the carb if you still have it can ya show me what part it is... Oh ya the carb is a 73 rodchester. off a blazer

There should be a plastic rod with a rubber cup on the end, or sometimes the kits just come with the rubber cup to replace the one that is on your pump assembly.
