How did you mount your hydraulic ram to your tie rod? Pics?

I know MOO makes a clamp on mount and there's the obvious weld tab idea. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

I just adjusted the toe and welded on a tab. Any further adjustment requires a full turn or removing a TRE for half that.

I used the MOO clamp, which makes any adjustments to the tie-rid or ram very simple.

You can build a clamp, or weld to the rod (much easier). If you are using a ram you should have a rock rod of some sort as a stock one will bend beyond easily.

Yep, I know a beefy tie rod is in order before I mount the ram.

I'm so hard up against a wall at this point it's ridiculous. I want to buy a front lock-right and a hydro ram and hoses and I really want a 175 amp MIG welder but they both cost about the same and I've only got money for one or the other right now. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I'm thinking of just saving the money and maybe next month I can afford both. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
