More issues with \"new\" truck... Help please
2 weeks after I got my wheel bearing/hub problem fixed. At least it made it through deer season.
Anyway, I got home today and lifted hood to inspect another bad sound. The fan had FALLEN OFF of its spindle! Anyone else ever had this happen?? It is banged up, too, but I don't know if that's a result of it coming loose or a cause of it coming loose. How hard it it to remove the shroud, this one looks like it's stapled together ...
It seems on my K5 that somehting rubber holds the fan on its spindle, but it's dark so I can''t really tell.
Fortunately I can still drive the ol' Blazer to school tomorrow and then have the long weekend to think on this one.
Thanks all!
