I got a question though. Why did you put HO axles and locker in a 14bff. Isnt that backwards of what people usually do?

I got the detroit from one for free. I am in process of finding a 14ff detroit though now, not for strength as I feel they are the same but for more parts availability, granted my local yard has a few dozen HO rears.

Isnt the detroit a lunchbox type setup in them? Call them up and order different side gears no?

Then you could run HO or 14b shafts

there is a local guy about to take the detroit out of his rear to go ARB so I'll pick that detroit up chances are then I can sell the 17 spline detroit and shafts to someone else local and then we all get what we want.
