more of a reason for the salt folks to hate us..

Wonder how he knows if thats the original paint, It has a Sands Chevrolet sticker on the tailgate.

It is a very nice truck, wouldn't mind picking it up myself if I had the money. I will be hitting you AZ guys up to find me a tub, as soon as I can get the money set aside.

for who? the seller im my opinion
haha no the buyer i got my 85 blazer for 1000 dollars the only difference was paint. (its primer gray) thats all the interior is damn good the engine is absolutely magnificent and there was not one dent nor one spot of rust period i mean i know i got a smoking deal but come on 3400 for an 84 blazer geeze it dont even got good axles

its a clean non hacked or beet on driver.. alot of people like that, for the tires on it what would be the point of bigger or geared axles?

I notice the chance of some shade tree, back woods hackery goes way up on a lifted truck compared to a stock one when Im shopping for one. The factory paint is in great shape too, I would choose that any day over a cheap base/clear repaint too.

There is a 1990 K5 for sale just down the road from my place with about 70 000 miles on it. Totally rust free, original paint still gleams like new. Interior is blue, and is in incredibly good shape. Fella is asking 10k for it though :D If I could afford it, I'd probably go for it. Just don't see them like that up here, especially un-restored

I guess im just the odd man out. I just don't think an 80' -90's K5 is collector material at all.

I guess my little sisters 1989 chevy lumina is a real museum piece with only 40k original miles huh?

While its nice to have a clean DD, paying 10K for a truck that KBB's at $2700 fully loaded an in EXCELLENT condition seems like real stupidity. Give them another 20 years and that would be reasonable. Ie. a 1970 blazer in the same condition.

I dont mean to step on your toes Russ, So I apologize in advance.

No worries!

Things in Canada are a bit different than down in the states. It is rare to see a vehicle older than mid 90s around here theses days, and we had way fewer to start with. What may be a common vehicle down there is stupidly rare up here.

Parts are way more expensive too!

Dude I have access to a 4 car trailer, I should load it up and come your way!!!:haha:;)

when i bought mine it was in the exact condition of that blazer only difference is that it was not all old guy modded up i.e. side steps bug guard and flaps.....i personally could give a flying frick about paint all it does is make something look better and causes paranoia in parking lots

couldnt have said it better myself

i figured if anything it would be the other way around with the big bowl up front cause the front is where most of your stopping power takes place. i guess were noobs randy lol

But the big bowl feeds all the way to the back so....

:dunno: I guess you're right about the noob part though :D

they are just backwards, the big bowl feeds the front brakes, the small is for the drums.
