most common truck nick names "the beast"

I get tired of people calling it the beast. Some call it bigfoot. I like a vehicle to have a name. I won't name it, but if I hear someone refer to it with a name or phrase I like, it sticks.

War wagon, beast, mud slut, mean green, trusty rusty, the hauler, the bitch, the ****in' money pit (wifes) all names I have called or heard my K5 called.

Just about any trail you hit around Texas you’re guaranteed to see at least 2 yellow “Tonka” trucks running around. Kind of like the guarantee of having a Larry in a bowling alley at any given night. Hey wait a minute….

any truck with a (non-factory) name is "played out"... but maybe thats just me. I don't name anything that isn't literally alive... and I'm not 100% sure why anyone does...

My truck loves me UNCONDITIONALLY... Yeah sure we argue sometimes about where to go on that vacation or who gets to determine the direction of travel, but at the end of the day my truck just loves me for who I am.

How can I not give that kind of love a name. I affectionatly call my baby the 'Blue Moose'

I can't understand why anyone WOULDN'T name their truck...:wink1:

I had a truck named "CHET". I had a set of TruckNutz on it and someone referred to the ChetsNuts on the back. So Chet kind of stuck.

My current truck is "Max" due to the Duramax under the hood.
