Most overuse of spray painting a truck

I'm not a fan of the flat green, but it does look nice. But IMO not $6k nice.

I knew the 6.2 diesels were anemic, but dang 240 ft/lb of torque?? Surprised it can get out of it's own way....

Definitely a rattle can resto...but some of it is their camera. Not sure if it's a setting, or a filter or just a POS. Some sloppy work for sure, notice the Rhino line overspray on the T-case shifter box. That's 35 seconds to remove that box and re-install. Also some overspray on the pass seat belt.

The underside definitely got a heavy coat of flat black...classic car lot bullchit.

I bet he's got more than 6k in it....it looks all satiny.......even the hoses in the engine compartment look satiny...it's clean...

Exactly!

The liner all over the pedals and shifter along with the seatbelt cover were dead giveaways of a sloppy and quick job. If you look close enough, you can see the spatter on the side of the seats in some pics.

I did see where they missed a spot on the frame rail and fuel tank of the black paint. You can see the rust color that we're all so used to seeing. :whistle:

I don't like how they just sprayed EVERYTHING. I mean everything! Even the whole engine compartment is sprayed, tops of radiator support, EVERYWHERE!

Ugh! Its like that truck got hit by a paint virus. :doah:

You'd be surprised what a rag and solvent or thinner can do to rubber lines.

Rene, check out the shifter on that thing. Should be chrome.

I like the

We spared NO expense on this truck - inside AND out!!

:eek1::eek1::eek1:

1ton = 10k gvw dont it ?

his truck is 8,800 max ? ? ?

and he is runnin spacers i bet on all 4 wheels to fit them stock rims from h1 . can tell by the hub stick out depth. :whistle:

M1008 is 8800.

M1028 is 9400.

Can't remember what the others were.

I noticed those hubs not protruding very far either. Definitely gotta be spacers behind there.

Since they spared no expense maybe they put extra "thick" rims on there...did ya ever stop to think about that? :haha:

Maybe I should just spray everything in my interior, looks better than mine does now :haha:

to fit them stock need drw hubs front = flush -3/4" stick out of the lock out hub.

rear the axle flange would be stickin out. = his is not the rim is past the flange.

all this = spacers. :popcorn:

I kinda agree with the last quote.

6.2, TH400, 208, 60/14 with rear Detroit and 4.56's, 36" MT's on double beadlocks, great tow points front and rear...plus the thickest, strongest C/K frame available for our trucks.

Definitely a burly package, "rugged" isn't out of line either IMO.
