If total junk it's not to late for me to do something else

Only motive gear stuff I’ve used that I can remember are their ring and pinions and never had an issue yet.

wallet says no. Vet today pup need some dental work looking at $1500.00 more dollars on Thursday. I did call ORD today got message service 2x, is ok I didn't order the Yukon chromoly this morning.

Where are the motive gear shafts made? The gears they sell are cut in South Korea or Italy. If these are no good, DANA Spicer still makes them in both regular steel and chromoly. That's the brand I chose. I went with the standard steel and they were made in Mexico. No complaints, but not a lot of 4x4 time on them.

Just so you know…

There are manufacturers of these that do not machine the taper into the shaft, and they are stronger
If you break any, don’t bother warrantying them for anything other than a spare

If I break these it'll be time to go chromoly. I have the old ones as spares. Also a whole extra d44, hub to hub with brakes. Known good wheel bearings and ball joints
