I have the "early american" version of this kit. I like it alot. Get good pedal feel right and easy one man bleeding.
2 downsides (and how to midigate):
First: the hook and chain system of attaching the plate to the master cylinder almost never seals up, I just end up using 2 big C-clamps. This is attaching to a cast iron reservoir so I don't have to worry about over tightening. On a plastic 80's reservoir you might have an issue, maybe you can modify a factory plastic lid with a hole for the feed hose (like they sell for every other kit).
Second: it almost always makes a mess. Either it doesn't seal well and leaks fluid out at the MC or when you are done and you go to remove it, the reservoir is completely full of fluid and some spills when you pull the plate off. To make sure it seals well: I clamp it down fairly tight and pressurize with no fluid first, and check for leakage, adjust clamps as required. To stop it from puking after I'm done bleeding, I dump all the fluid out of the pressure pot, and then bleed the front and rear a little bit more to lower the reservoir levels down 1/2 inch or so. Then the plate can be pulled without puking.
