Motor #6... I\'m stopping here

327... 350... SB400... 350... 350... and now, finally, a motor that runs excellent... a 454.

Finally, the Orange Blazer (as far as running gear and drivetrain goes) is DONE. As of last weekend it received the 454 (a freebee from a donor Blazer I traded off), a 14 Bolt rear with a Detroit Locker and new Dual 3" Flowmaster exhaust. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

/forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif Just finished putting the fofittyfo in mine 4 days ago and it rocks. Mine is completely stock exept for the headers and it pulls really nice and hard. I had installed a cam and intake on my 350 that I was running before and I felt some improvement but the 454 swap is like night and day difference. My 12 bolt diffs. days are counted, I can smoke my 35's(both due to the lincoln locker) now so I better start looking for a 14 bolt. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

Call me paranoid, but I'm always worried whenever I drive something that has a 12 bolt or 10 bolt under it.

I feel more confident with a 14 bolt. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The K5 I pulled this motor out of was 1/2 ton, full-time. I told myself I had to drive sanely so I didnt ruin anything.
