I just installed my doubler. each of the adapters are mounted to the crossmember. with only a piece of mud flap as the bushing(adapter, rubber flap then crossmember) at the motor I have new OEM motor mounts. motor is a LT1 with like 250HP. Is something going to give here? reason why I ask is I make two trips and was checking bolts and one of the doubler adapter mount bolts is now stripped. Long and confusing I know sorry

So, you've seen how the factory mounts transmissions I assume.

And you thought that mud flaps would suffice, why?

Use a real bushing and everything will be fine.
