Motor HELP! Especially those in OKC area

My 77 K5 was running sluggish, turns out it was a bad plug. Replaced it, changed to synthetic mobil 1 oil. Some black smoke had been happening, thought to be the carburator. Oil was coming out of the motor very quickly, hitting the headers. Can follow the oil up under the block to the bottom of the oil pan, not really any higher. Someone thought it was the rear main seal, but it's falling onto the headers? Driving it, when it runs, feels like it's only got 4 cylinders.

Background info on the motor:

Proffesionally installed AC Delco Reman. 350 300bhp/400 torque. New starter, alternator, water pump, distributor, remanufactured and tuned rochester carburator from a supposedly reputable local shop. Hooker headers, front drive shaft put a hole in one, welded up a day before this problem happened.

I have body and transmission mounts on the way that need to be installed, and the bellhousing on my sm465 has been cracked for a while and needs to be replaced. I was going to drop it to see if it's the rear main seal. Problem is, I don't know a whole hell of a lot and I have to do it in the parking lot of my apartment complex. Anyone in the Norman/OKC area have a place I could park it for a weekend and maybe loan me a jack and maybe help for some $$$ or beer?

It was almost ready! I'm so upset....

I'm not in OKC,bout 3hr's east in Sallisaw but your welcome to bring it to my shop to try.
If it's hitting the header's and not splashing then I'm thinking more along the line's of a valve cover.
If it was the rear main then it would drain from the bellhousing,but only straight down i'm pretty sure.
All my experience is with the 1peice motor's so i'm not sure though.

I appretiate your help, unfortunatley I can get it that far like this. Thanks a lot though! I'm almost ready to just drop the tranny and try it? See where it's leaking from. I'm sure the apartment complex will be upset but it isn't in a place that makes it towable.
