What do I need to change to a 454 in a 76 blazer currently with a 350 4 brl this truck has an 86 motor in it right now so I have the one piece rear main seal and probably a flyweel to match that motor it was in it when I bought the truck it also already has an electric fuel pump mounted on the frame I would like to change this to a 454 should I look for a newer 454 or an older one and change flywheel back.

Have not started looking around at prices yet might be interested in doing a little trading I have a running 429 thunder jet motor I will either sell it or trade it for a running or at least a rebuildable 454.

I would like to get 450.00 for the motor it has never been rebuilt the intake has been tossed like anybody would use that boat ankor anyway I live in massachussets might be a little far for you.

When I swapped my 454 I used the same mounts from my 350. Don't know about the rear because mine is a Gen 4 which uses the 2 piece seal and the same flexplate from my 1979 350.
