I need to replace the motor mounts on my 87 k5. Can anyone suggest a good brand?
Thanks
Steve

I picked mine up at Autozone a couple of years ago and they seem to be fine. Running a mostly stock engine but had no problems. :)

i got a set of the ord motor mounts and they are a heluva lot tougher then the stock ones but do transmit a bit more vibration to the frame if you feel its worth the trade off

I used the Energy Suspension ones that you fit to the stock metal clamshells. When I did my motor swap the old stock ones just fell apart when I took them out, the rubber had totally dissintegrated! (spelt wrong :o )

If you do go the poly motor mount then you should replace the tc mount with poly also. You don't want one to be a rigid mount and the other one soft or you could end up cracking something.
