My jimmy has a 4 bolt main run of the mill 350. I have the oppurtunity to get a LS9 350 out of a 92 caprice. I also have a 1990 parts blazer with all the computer stuff i'll need and i get the whole caprice for any computer stuff i'll need. My question is would it be benificial to switch to tbi? Either motor will get rebuilt and i like the gas milage and possibly more power out of the newer motor. I will mostly use the jimmy for mild offroading and towing my camaro. Sorry for the long thread thanks for any help.

TBI is a huge bonus unless you are looking for some big horsepower numbers. For a run of the mill motor it is great and even a slightly modded motor it is a great choice.
