motor pic request

I replaced the PS belt on my 1988 305 TBI motor and now the motor isn't running right. The belts and look good and everthing is nice and tight.

Can someone post up a pic of a 1988 305 with AC? I want to make sure I got the belts back on correctly.

There should be a sticker on the shroud that shows the correct belt routing.

It's not the belts causing the motor to run bad.I replaced the belts and verified that there were routed correctly. With only the alt and clutch fan belts hooked up, the motor is acting like it's not getting fuel. It will start fine and after running for 1 min it starts to bog down. After 4 minutes of running the "check engine" light comes on. I've installed a new fuel filter and it's still running like crap.

What should I check first before taking it in to get looked at?

I'm thinking the issue is with the fuel filter install. Wrong filter, wrong direction, bad filter, etc....
