Hey I was wondering if a 350 TBI motor out of a 1992 Chevy truck is a Roller Cam motor? I thought they were but a friend said they weren't. Anyone have a say on this?

as far as i know no trucks got roller motors in them...but cars on the other hand went roller in i believe 88 if you have access to the engine pull off a valve cover it is only 4 bolts...
All GM trucks went roller in 96' when they introduced the sequential injected Vortec motors.

really? i just had the engine out of a 99 2500 and it wasnt roller... curious about where u got your info??

96 and up roller,everything else, nope.besides you can do better /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif /forums/images/graemlins/weld.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grind.gif I read somewhere that all vortech motors were roller cam, if what you say is true I'll count myself as misinformed, sorry just passing along what I read /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

I'm just finishing a '92 350, in a c10. Doesn't have rollers.
