so i have posted before on this but let me try again.

86 k5 with a decent built 350, holly truck advenger carb and msd ignition.

i have a sm465, and when i go from a dead stop and floor it, when the motor reaches about 2400-3000 it sputters slightly and pops through the exhaust and then clears out. does this through all 3 gears.

now i had a shop dyno tune the truck and on the dyno load test, it does not sputter at all, the computer shows no misfires and the carb is tuned perfectly.

no take it off the dyno and put it on the road and it will do it everytime.

so no vac leaks, prop turned dizzy and carb (according to the dyno tune) what else could it be?

if i keep my foot at 3/4 throttle or less it runs just fine only on WOT

i'm really disapointed with those carbs, my brother's 770TA did all sorts of crap like that. there was a point at about 1/4 throttle where it would not acelerate at all. if you held it there the truck would slow down. step through it and it was fine.
inho= junk. get fuel inj or a q-jet.

sorry for the lack of actual help
