Switching motors from a 305 to a crate 350 hei. The 305 had electronic spark control so i ripped out that computer. When you guys are swaping motors are you guys hooking up the idiot oil light sensor and knock sensor.
Another question I have is the kid before me changed the weights on the distributer so it is not vaccume advanced its maxed out mechanically. He did this for the truck pulls. This is going to be my daily driver so what should i do? swap the weights from my old distributer or buy new ones? if i buy new ones which ones should i get?
