My neighboor has an old 80's motorhome, engine and drivetrain are great, drives good, and he told me i could have its alternator, but dont know hw many amps will it hold, anyone here have a clue??
Thanks.

Should be stamped on the outside of the case if it's stock.

Motorhomes MIGHT be higher, but most GM applications I've found for the 80's maxed out around 100amps. You can convert to newer styles (CS130 or CS144's) and get up to around 140amps stock, but unless you really need that much, kind of pointless.

i guess that would be enough.

Im running 4 big ass lights up front, 2 more for headlights, 2 amps, stereo, a rear light....

Il check.

Thanks.
