Its like the motor trend of the day, testing and reviewing an 89 Blazer. I thought it was entertaining,

Blazer! 89

LOL, thanks. It's easy to forget that my old 89 was at one time "Cutting edge". The narrator said you have to step up into the test Blazer. I wonder what he would think if he saw all the lifts we put in our trucks!

The narrator showed concern over the T-case shift lever, but was it even possible to shift on the fly?

The 208/241 t-cases can be shifted on the fly even at high speeds BUT only from 2hi to 4hi and vice versa but NEVER to 4lo

I have the factory window sticker from when my Blazer was bought new. Here is a pic of it.

That is odd. You have the cali emissions but also the engine block heater. I wonder how common the engine block heater was as an option. My 78 has the cold climate package with the block heater.

Well, there are parts of California that do get very cold up in the Sierra's. I no longer have the block heater though as it stayed on my old engine when I removed it so now it resides under my workbench attached to the engine still. :D

"...ample storage for all the small items you need..." like a gallon of window wash?:haha:

I'm still trying to figure out how to utilize all that ample storage, and modify my center console into a mini fridge... that way I can skip the coolers and ice:D

Madness! Madness i say! How in the world could i have missed that video this whole time?!?! Maybe i watched it and forgot? Who knows.
