Moulding glue?

The glue recommendation for the rubber edges of my headliner has been this:


But the moment temperatures hit above 80* I get this:



Even worse, it drips off the edge and onto the seat, seatbelt, or elsewhere. It's sticky but runs with slight heat. Also, if left alone, the entire strip falls off. What should try? Gorilla glue? Something that hardens and doesn't melt
