so i just pulled a york from an 82 volvo i think. and it works but i want to keep my a/c so does anyone have pics of how they mounted it next to it (looking mainly for how you ran the belts) and yes i have seen the write up on it but the pics are bad. thanks everyone!

p.s. sooner the better cause some fire road gates need to be cut with my air tools :D

i saw that one, not what im looking for. i did search and didn't find what i was looking for... thanks for the reply anyways

think i found what i was looking for. kind of. cause i had an idea of where i could mount it, but wasn't sure. guess ill do it like this.

Looks like that pictured setup needs a pulley between the york and alternator. I bet that belt will slip when all the electrical equipment is on and york is spinning :wink1:

IIRC, alt pulley should have about 1/2 the contact patch of the pulleys circle.

yep i agree also. and i wonder if the p/s will slip also.

yeah i was thinking about that, but we will see if there is any problems i guess.

Potentially stupid suggestions haven't stopped me before:o

Is there space enough to run a V-Belt from the crank to the York?

real easy way is a old school fisher plow v belt pully. it is added after the serp belt pully and would let you do this easy. i see them time to time on ebay for under 50 bucks.

go ahead and blow your cash on killby. he jumped his price 300% for the 89-95 mount setup. said it includes a belt. must be made of gold.

i was just showing his picture as an idea of how im going to mount mine. i would never buy something like that.

I run that set up and the belt does not slip even when i have every accessory turned on.
