sounds like what i maybe looking for! i have been drawinging alot lately, try'n to figure out how to get a heim joint on top of my shackles, so that i can get my shackles to lean like that.
i,ve also thought about using a piece of tubing the right size for the bushings, and come off off that with a piece of heavy threaded rod so it could rotate as the threads turn back and forth, just have to figure out how to mount the female threads to the truck, so i can screw my tubing and threaded rod to, also, doing it this way, i could have an infinite length shackle also, to a certain extent ,don't want to much of a span of the threaded rod, unless you use a piece large enuff that it won't bend , when its screwed out long, any other ideas
didn't mean to hijack your thread, but seeing you shackles leaning like that made me think of what i've been trying to engineer for myself,btw your rig looks really good...i love the look of those hummer bead locks, those are h1 rimes aren't they? how did you overcome the backspacing issue?
