got one mounted four more to go, I ended up cutting the insert to get it in the tire, next to impossible if you don't. tires look too small

I know, it looks kinda of ridiculous. stock 97 suburban springs, with my "custom" made brackets... never thought it would have lifted me up that much, but it does look deceiving because the front is stock with some tiny little tires on it, so it makes the back look even worst. trying to figure out how to lower it... maybe some other 60" springs that are flat or de arched if theres anything out there that has such a thing, bigger tires would help too but $$$$

Which inserts did you use I just did mine with the two piece rubbers and no cutting to get them in just used two ratchet straps and cranked on them inserts slide right in. The tires where 38.5 in boggers.

Not to but in your thread, but what size do the tires measure mounted..?

they are the pvc inserts, but the hummer tires are a pretty heavy tire not near as flexible as a tsl, even cutting them and getting them together inside was a challange, but now I know how to do it, I cut them so they interlock like a puzzle, I was telling my buddy who helped me put them in that if the tire was a tsl and was bigger it would be a lot easier

on the shackle..where it is now it seems way too soft, I might have to re think this whole set up/ idea I came up with...might sell these shackle hangers and fab something a little different

as far as what the tires actually measure I'll have to check on that.. I don't know if that is what you wanted to know or if you just wanted to know the size of the tire..it's a military oz 37" goodyear

To get the PVC inserts inside hummer tires, I had to soap everything up and set the tire on the insert (sideways) and then jump repeatedly on the tire as hard as I could to get the insert into the tire. Then it was on to prybars and long pipes to rotate the insert until it was between the two beads. It can be done, like they say, but they don't tell you what a huge pain it is.

That is the reason I am seriously thinking about getting the Mag inserts and cutting them down. Two piece already.

I bet it's a lot easier to cut the pvc, it only took me about 5 min to do, this is what I copied
