Just wondering what everybody thinks. Should I weld my floor plates in or bolt them in.

Are you going to sandwich the body and then run the cage to the frame?

Well either way... I would recommend bolting. But I would definately put a bottom plate so the bolts will never pull through the body.

That is what I am going to do on my cage.

It will get tied to the frame. I had planned to plate the top and bottom and was considering running the tube through the floor.

I would bolt and put bushings in-between the fame tie in and the body you want to maintain a little frame flex between the body and frame.... Adding the support plates to on the body is good tie the body and cage togather.... But tie'n the cage to the body is a great plan. Cutting holes throught the floor to run to the frame. is another place for fumes, heat, water, rust, weaken the body....
