mounting shock towers

im putting ford shock towers on my blazer and was wondering if i should leave the bottom shock mount the same or does that have to be changed to.
Also im swapping out my manual and putting in turbo 400 and ive got 350 now but want to go to 454 shortly down the road and was wondering if i have to change anything to get it to mount up to 454.

Try to make the shock travel match the suspension travel.

How much lift ya got Randy? Maybe someone with similar setup will chime in with the right shock length for your lift with the Furd towers.

ive got 6 inches of lift and got some ranch 9000s with 14 inch of travel im not sure there exact length at 35 inches i think it looks like im gonna have to use all the towers and mount the bottom pretty low ill figure it out thanks for replying

Don't go so low you hang 'em up on stuff.
