Mounting shocks on top of knucles

Best thing to do is run 2 braces in line with the "C" down to the axle and use them to mount the shocks. Putting the shocks out that far will require the shocks to lean in to clear the tires.

Nice job. Looks like the top picture, top of the weld was very porous. Did you run out of gas, or was it contaminated? Might want to grind that portion out and reweld it.

Also, can you still get the ball joint nut off with a box end wrench in case you need to hold the stud through it?

Perfect, sounds like you have it all planned out. Nice job. Did you get to test it out yet?

No real testing as of yet. Today was the first day I have drove it in 5 years. It was only about 20 miles or so to work and back, We will be taking it out to the dunes in about 2 weeks for a shake down.
