Moving a carrier and gears.

I've got a carrier, with a detriot in it, and some 4.56 gears that I want to move from one rearend to another. I'm going to replace all the bearings and have the rearend set up.

Is there any issues with moving used gears and a carrier from one rearend to another if they are setup correctly?

i took a military 14 bolt one ton with a locker and swapped the guts with a 74 3/4 ton...instead of moving the perches on the one ton.. it worked real well..
