Alright on the rear of my truck I have the 'homebrew' shackle flip for 4" of lift, and a 2" block for 6" total. After we got the new rear axle under it today and the spring perches welded, I'm noticing that the rear tires are about 1-2" from being in the center of the wheel well. Not TOO noticeable, but looks kinda funky to me. Plus, the cv driveshaft I bought is pushed all the way into the tailshaft of the transfer case, and is about 1/2" too long still. I'm thinking a zero rate will fix this problem, but they only give 1" of lift correct? I know that I can't stack my 2" block AND a zero rate in teh back, so what should I do?

You can use a zero rate and a block if you want, and you can use the zero rate to move the axle back 1" or 1.5".

How long is your rear shackle?

Stacking a zero rate with a lift block is considered acceptable by most wheelers because the zero rate is bolted to the leave pack by the center pin. Consider it like a shim to adjust pinion angle. Lost of people run a shim & a block.
