Its not really a flaw. We just are using these trucks in a manner they weren't designed for. Very simply the front axle is 'too close' to the cab for large (37"+) and lots of flex. Moving the axle forward keeps the tires from hitting the firewall.
No flaw really. You can move the axle forward if you are running large tires like 42's and up so that the tires dont rub on the firewall when flexed out.
