Has anybody tried to move their steering column over? I am in the process of rebuilding the K5 again and plan to narrow it up some and want to move the seats in 2" toward the center and want to do the same with the column. Has anybody done it?

With some serious fab, i'm sure it could be done.....but is it really worth it? I sorta feel like when you reach that point in narrowing, you are probably better off throwing an S10 cab on.....or cutting your body down the middle and removing 4 or 5".

I think it will be worth it. I don't have to worry about the dash so that is not a issue. The gas pedal is fine and it will be easy to modify the brake pedal. I know I can go with aftermarket stuff from PSC to make it easier but I don't want to do that if I can use what I have now. Cutting the center is not an option because of the way I have the cage set up and don't want to change that.
