is there anyway to change the speedometer to read the correct mph? i know i know it's a stupid question but one stupid quisetion is better than the school cop givin me a ticket everyday:shame:.

depends on year, and transmission/transfer case

I know the electronic ones have switches that you can modify for tire/gear size
I know 700r4s (2wd at least) have speedometer gears which can be modified
There are also ratio boxes that you can install to correct
Or you could just learn the difference, IE: My speedo is 10% slow, if it says 32 im really doing 35(ish) and if it says 60 im really doing 66(ish). Simple, free RPM calculator will give you exact numbers for your setup

What do you have? that determines the fix

ummmmm... it's a 87 k10 fuel injected with a 4 speed and i don't know much else about the drivetrain such as the transfer case but any help would be helpful

you have link to said site? haha...mine reads faster than im actually going...(gears, tires) sooo it says 45 im doing 35

You need to replace the plastic speedo gear in the transfer case. It is very easy to do. Go to a dealership and let them know how it's off and they have a variety of different color gears for different ratios/tire sizes etc. May take a few tries to get it right but it takes all of 2 minutes to swap out the gear.
