msd 6a, 4pin dist...wtf to do with tach?

ok i had a 5 pin dist. it took a crap before it did the tach worked.. puta 4 pin in. didnt hook up msd. tach still worked i hooked up the msd today and now the tach dont work...it still lights up but i cant figure out where to plug it into...tried off hte cap and off of the "white jumper" with no go.

anybody know where its sposed to hook up? or did my tach die?

so you have a 6a ignition box? Look on the end of it, the end w/ the purple/green wires and there will be a black ring. You can put a spade terminal in the center of that and run the tach off it.

Thats where I run mine, actually that is where autometer says they have to be run if you are using an aftermarket ignition box.
