Hey guys i have stock rebuilt 350 with headers , edelbrock carb ,edelbrock intake and a MSD Ultimate HEI kit ,I actually have an older MSD 6a Box and wiring harness i bought off a guy at work but i never installled it. This guy in town told me if i had the Ultimate HEI kit already that the 6A box wouldnt do anything more. I beleive it will and i wanna hitch it up but is it really worth it and what kinda gains am i looking at ?
Thanks alot ,

iirc the ultimate hei kit does not give u multiple spark like the 6a box would. so it would be an improvement. it would help power & gas mileage. i don't think it would be enough to notice though.

I had the same setup as you practically, Edlebrock Cam, Intake, Carb and Hooker headers, MSD distributer. There was a very noticeable increase in the low end take off and pulling uphill. I swapped it over to the '75 and it improved the idle and low end power on the stock motor! A lot smoother idle also. I highly recommend it on carborated engines!!! :waytogo: MDS Multi-spark ignition that is!
