msd 6a offroad

fresh install, on of those bought and lost finds in ones own garage, anyways hooked up using the gm msd harness and attached the grey wire for the tach, still no worky,

Hook your tach wire to the white wire coming off your coil and see if it works then.

thats eliminated with the msd harness, so if i understand correctly, leave everything hooked up the way it is and add the white wire from the coil.

Do you have the 8876 plug and play harness? http://msdignition.com/product.aspx?id=4685&terms=8876

I would think you could still splice into the white wire on that harness for the tach. Are you sure you have the rest of your tach wires hooked up correctly?

its the black box, these past few years i have gotten a bad habit of putting things on the back burner, example would be the cab corners, i only have one done in a year, motivation is just not there anymore. i just wanna turn the key and go
