Distributor and new coil. The distributor has a new Summit brand cap & rotor. The distributor does new a new magnetic pickup. When it failed I was in a situation where the only choice was to buy a new distributor.

The distributor is MSD-8474 ready-to-run billet kit made for HEI applications: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=MSD-8474&N=700+0&autoview=sku

This is the new part that it needs: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=MSD-84661

***SOLD*** $75 +shipping Includes new coil and older spare that works just fine. Again the distributor currently does not work and needs repaired.

I'm very interested, but do i need a wire kit to plug into the dist. . I have a 67 chevy truck i'm putting a SBC in. I was going to run a HEI but this would give me more room by the firewall which i need. Thanks, Jason

No you wouldn't. You just reminded me I have the other part of the wiring harness still in my truck. It has the female part of that weather-tite plug you can see in the pic. You just need to supply it with a 12volt switched source and the rest of the wiring is for the coil.

Seems like some factory ignition wires I've messed with have either had ballast resistors or resistance wires to feed the factory distributors. So you'd want to make sure that you provide a power wire with with full 12V+ battery voltage.

If you click on the first Summit link I posted, there's a link to the instruction sheet on that page. They include a few different wiring diagrams.

OK, I checked the link and it should work for mine. Please check shipping to Chadwick, IL 61014. Also are you including the wiring it needs which you saids still on your truck? Thanks, Jason

Yes all wiring that I have will be included. Regular ground would be $18.
