Re: MSD, intake, nerf bars, bike, fridge parts, etc.

I'm 90% sure they'll fit all the way back to 73.

If it were a 'Burb, there'd be concerns about possible rear spring length.

consider the heads sold if not already, and if the valve heads are not flush with or sunken into the casting of the heads

are they ?

will ship post office mail or whatever wont you ?
thanks

No valve is sunken into the head or flush. Most of the valve's lips are still well above the head, 1 intake a little lower than the others, but nowhere near flush.

Yeah, I can ground them. Will USPS take those heavy suckers?

I may even have some boxes w/ packing (ex computer/monitor) that they'll fit in (crosses fingers). Hate for the mounting surface to get dinged in transit.

Don't have time to weigh them now to figure shipping. If you have an idea what they weigh, we can calc shipping.

Did the TB and injectors work when the were pulled? Looks like they have been in a fire. If it was in working condition when pulled I will take all the TBI stuff EXCEPT the intake(I would like all the brackets). Can you PM me a price with shipping. Thanks.

The Nerf bars are not sold, but I'm trying to calc shipping and getting barred due to size.

So far, got about 103 to Houston, TX using Fedex Express Saver.

UPS is pretty far from my house, so don't want to run there if I can help it.

Calling around right now to see what's up. Let me know if you come up with alternatives or if the $103 is OK by you.

Really don't want to do air freight forwarder's if I don't have to either. Can't fit these on my bike, so I'll have to drive one of the cages, man! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

do them separately, not both in same box, post office will touch them separately:D

and try UPs both ways too and fed ex if possbiel, both ways also with them

BTW, NERF dims are 48 x 38 x 6 when packaged together, 48x38x3 seperately. Guessing 35#-40# for both.

I'll prolly install the bolts in the holes and tighten them down so they don't get lost.

Of course, they're in a U shape, but do shippers care...

I'll weigh the heads tonite and get rates this eve or in the AM. If you tell me you can paypal me tomorrow after I get you rates, I'll drive one of my cages & bring them into work to ship.

Thanks!
