MSd question

How much does it run to buy everything: box, dist, coil, plugs, wire + install at a reputable shop?
Is it also bad to run the box itself or everything MSD but OEM distributor? Thanks.

Look at www.summit.com at there msd-6 series boxes,then go from there with the wires and plugs ,coil, and why go to a shop You can do it in about 1 hour for all but the dist....It is very easy...mike

If you buy the HEI Distributor, the MSD box is very easy to install... They give you ok directions (it helps if you know a little bit about dc theory). The MSD reps are excellent.

Just a quick est:
off road box=$215.00
HEI Dist.=$320.00 (comes complete w/coil,cap,rotor)
Superconductor Wires:$60.00

... as far as running the MSD box w/stock distrib..... No problem...
