MUCV(Multi-Purpose Utility Command Vehicle)...The Dirtybus...

I picked up some 20g sheet metal that will be skinned over the holes... Two sheets 4'x6'9" for $40...

Then I'll cut some of the pink styrofoam and stuff it on the inside for insulation...

There will be a couple of windows, but they will be cut in after I find some decent RV ones...

Looking to see how this turns out. Keep it up. Sounds like you have some great bargining/craigslist skills

Sometimes i hate being young and working part time. As soon as i finish this schooling thing and get a job im gonna build some neat toys :D

Hey, we can dream right! haha

Looking good, as stated on the old camper bus we have (56 chevy v8 bus) the bunks are at the back, sofa behind the drivers seat, and the bathroom between sofa and the bunks. Weve never used it, but i think your ideas gonna work pretty well.

Me and the boys got some of the widows skinned... Got hot so, took a swimming break... Gonna get back out there and throw up another piece...

On of my neighbors gave me some pretty thick galv sheet... Think it's 12 or 14 gauge... I plan on using this to make the side door disappear... Another freebie...

man this project is moving right along and looks great!

Thanks... It would be moving faster if we didn't stop to jump in the pool every hour or so...:D

Lots of insulation and carpet, or hello tin can :eek1:

Gonna use the pink styrofoam to insulate where the windows were... Then the walls and ceiling will get carpet...;)
