Raping some tool boxes for their hidden treasure...

Had to rework the microwave cubby so the doors would fit without notching...

Started bending up some drawers for either side of the stove... The boxes are being made from the old interior skins from the bus... They'll get an aluminum face like the cabinet doors...

Stole some drawer sliders from a vanity that I got for free, the vanity ended up being to big for the bathroom I'm re-doing...

i would have bobbed it like a flatbed (or avalanche) and put the tow rig ON the back... no trailering needed.. no extra fees for bridges... LOL.. all in 1...

but looking good.. just not green... makes it look like a philly eagles short bus...

I saw a bus converted to a tow rig here in Richmond, KY last week. Guy had made a flat bed on the back and had a rock crawler sitting on it going down the road... pretty cool. He had the long bus though so cutting 10'-12' off the back wasn't a big deal...

I looked at some longer busses to do the hauler on the back... The shorter version will be nicer to use for other trips when we're not wheeling... It's real easy to drive in parking lots...

Got the box for the drawer done and installed on the right of the stove... Now working on the left drawer... I cut out the diamond plate just to the left of the stove and turning it into a drawer... The diamond plate under the sink with the rack will stay...

Got the fronts on the two drawers... Turned out pretty decent... Later on I may find some small aluminum angle to wrap the fronts with... Gonna try and get the upper cabinets skinned today, then all they will need is paint and installed...

Your bus is much nicer than the one my dad's friend lived in when doing construction. I really like you interior setup.

It took me a while to commit to the floor plan, but I'm liking the feel of it...


As far as rattling, when was the last time you rode in a school bus???

They rattle all over, but I'm doing what I can to quiet it down...

Maybe you can use a few more rivets to keep to rattles to a min. We know how ya love them.

What are you wrapping the indoor outhouse in?
